This impressive limestone residence (sleeps 14), a careful blend of comfort and relaxed holiday style is hugely accommodating for extended family and guests as the ultimate beach side escape.

Zoned living and a clever floor plan ensure space and ease to accommodate multiple generations. Downstairs comprising a wide entry hall, family living room with pool table, table tennis table, foosball table, arcade game, with second kitchen with bi-fold windows to serve your guests a champagne through the bar window, to the alfresco BBQ area terrace downstairs with lounge area and alfresco dining with an large luxurious heated pool with deck with sun loungers to relax the days away, there is also an amazing half court basketball court, the children will be entertained all day!
The bedrooms downstairs consist of a Queen Bedroom (sleeps 2), Bunk room (sleeps 4).

Upstairs comprises an open plan living and dining room with open fire place and huge terrace with alfresco dining and sitting area that is oriented to offer north facing views of the Bay and stunning sunsets overlook the Bay. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs, a large master bedroom with private terrace, dressing room and huge ensuite with bath that overlooks the water. Three further bedrooms upstairs with bedrooms including a King Single Room (sleeps 2), Single Bedroom (sleeps 2) and King Bedroom (sleeps 2) and a family bathroom.

You are located in the very heart of Portsea Village, within steps to Portsea Main beach, Portsea pier, the iconic and beautifully revamped Portsea Hotel and welcoming Village cafes. At the centre of everything and yet with a sense of privacy, the property is fully fenced and gated with two car garage and off-street parking and comes complete with heating and evaporative cooling.

    You know the house you're staying is pretty good when you spend three days there and barely leave the house...
    Our family (mum, dad, four adult sons, three partners, 5 grandchildren - all under 7 - and two dogs) stayed at 2 Nepean Place Portsea for two nights and had a ball. The heated pool was such a hit (along with the half basketball court, pool and table tennis tables) that none of us did any swimming at the local beaches. The house is really well laid out with three distinct bedroom zones (up and downstairs) which helped with minimizing overnight sleep disruptions from the youngsters. Master bedroom has its own balcony and a great ensuite with full spa. Upstairs living / meals / kitchen area well laid out and we had everything we needed for the stay. Good size balcony and table to have meals at (if you're lucky enough to score some decent weather - which we did). Great location with only a short walk to Portsea shops (for the essential morning coffee run), Portsea pub (worth booking ahead to make sure you get a table) and pier.
    Jellis Craig, and Taylor in particular, were great to deal with. Not long after our original booking, the house was broken into and damaged quite badly. No problem. With our consent, Taylor moved our booking to another house in Sorrento for the same price. Then, on the day of our check in, there was a problem with the pool at the second house. Taylor proactively let us know and switched the booking back to the original house we had booked (again in consultation with us). Would definitely be happy to stay at this house again with the whole family and use Jellis Craig again.

    Overall we were very happy but there were a couple of little disappointments; we came to attend a wedding so the absence of an iron and ironing board was both annoying and disappointing. There is also a need for some maintenance on the upstairs sliding doors which are hard to open and we were amazed that within 8 hours of arriving we ran out of toilet paper and had to go out and buy more - it seemed a little penny pinching.

    We had a such a lovely time at the accommodation. Location was perfect - Pool, table tennis and pool table made our trip and we didnt have to go too far at all. Communication was great from host. A few things:
    - I didnt know which button to press on the remote door remote so the gate closed on our car when i pressed the wrong one (ooops).
    - There were no coffee pods which seemed a little odd so we all craved coffee both mornings as we brought enough food that we would not have to drive to Sorrento. It would have been fine if we knew there were no pods and which ones it took.
    -it appeared that borers had eaten away at some of the kitchen windows so there were quite a few wood shavings around.
    In saying this we would stay again and this is feedback on how we would enjoy our stay more thoroughly next time. Thank you.

    This is such a brilliant place with so much to do and so much space. We are an extended family with two sets of very young kids and all the different zones meant everyone had a great time and everyone could find the space they needed. The kitchen was great and we had some wonderful meals. The location is outstanding. The games and pool and equipment meant there was never nothing to do. There are occasional little quirks with the place that never detracted from the stay and we would return again and again

    Location, location, location. Beach, Portsea Pub, walks, cafes etc. Also a great house to sit by the pool, bbq and have lazy afternoon cocktails. Great summer home and I am sure it would be just as great in Winter with its indoor and outdoor fireplaces.
